Hoboken, NJ (4/19/14)- The Utica College men's tennis team fell to host Stevens Institute of Technology 9-0 Saturday afternoon in Empire 8 Conference action.
Senior
Daniel Fadden (Lakeland, NY/Bishop Ludden) and sophomore
Raphael Warnon (Rock Tavern, NY/Washingtonville ) dropped their No. 1 doubles match up to Stevens' freshman duo of Michael Feldman and Charles Drake, 8-4. Stevens took No. 2 doubles with an 8-0 victory and the Ducks also picked up straight-set victories in No. 1, No. 3, and No. 5 singles.
The Pioneers drop to 2-8 overall and 0-5 in conference play. UC returns to action Tuesday as it hosts Hartwick College. The Empire 8 match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
