Matt Rogers (East Syracuse, NY/Bishop Ludden) carded the most points for UC in his singles match losing 6-3 and 7-5.
In doubles play, both Pioneer tandems lost 8-2. UC had to forfeit three sets (2 singles/1 double) due to only having four players.
The Pioneers fall to 1-4 overall and remain winless in E8 play at 0-2. UC returns to the courts Friday The Soaring Eagles move their overall mark to 5-4 while 2-1 in conference play and are right back in action Sunday when they travel to Rochester, NY to face Nazareth College (1 p.m.).
