Utica, NY (4/7/14) - The Utica College women's lacrosse team (6-3, 2-2 E8) will begin a six game road trip over the course of 17 days on Wednesday, beginning with a visit to local opponent SUNY IT. The first draw control is set for 7 p.m.

Rebecca Plunkett (Kings Park, NY/Kings Park) netted five goals, scooped up seven ground balls, and won seven draw controls in the victory … The Kane sister's combined for three goals and two assists, while
Morgan DuPont (Wynantskill, NY/Averill Park) facilitated again with three assists and one goal.

Congrats DuPont: Coming into the season junior
Morgan DuPont (Wynantskill, NY/Averill Park) was eighth all time at UC in assists (30)… With her 26 assists thus far, DuPont is now ranked second all-time… She needs just one more assist to tie Tammy Kohanski '11 for first all-time … DuPont also broke her own school record for most assists in a single season and she still has at least seven games left in the season.
Scouting SUNY IT: The Wildcats are currently 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the NEAC … The team is led by freshman Krysta Beha (31g, 11a) who has 30% of the team's points … Beha also leads the team in draw controls and ground balls … The Wildcats are coming off of a 19-5 win at home over Penn State-Abington … Last season, UC beat SUNY IT 18-5 at home … UC holds a 2-0 all-time record over SUNY IT.
