Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Canton, NY (9/13/14)- The Utica College volleyball team split its tri-match at SUNY Canton Saturday.  The Pioneers fell to the host Kangaroos 3-0, before rebounding to knock off Johnson State 3-0. 
 
In the opening game, sophomore Brandi Blaszak (Marcy, NY/Whitesboro) led the team with nine kills, while freshman Alaina Wickwire (Towanda, PA/Towanda) had four kills.  Senior Briona Enny (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury) tallied 15 digs to stretch her season total to a team-best 101 digs. 
 
In the second game, senior Ashley Jones (Charlton, NY/Galway) had a season-best 11 kills, while Blaszak added ten.  Abaigail Mesenthin also helped out on the offensive end with six kills of her own.   Enny added 13 digs to her total, and Lora Allen (Dolgeville, NY/Dolgeville) collected 29 assists to bring her two-game total to 41. 
 
Utica moves to 4-5 on the season.  The Pioneers return to action Wednesday as they host SUNY Cobleskill.  The non-conference contest is scheduled for 7 p.m.
