Ithaca, NY (1/30/15)- The Utica College women's basketball team fell to host Ithaca College 104-47 in Empire 8 Conference action Friday evening.
The Pioneers drop to 9-11 overall and 5-6 in the always competitive, Empire 8 Conference. Utica has a quick turnaround as it travels to league-leader St. John Fisher Saturday afternoon (2 p.m.).
Senior
Bridget Greenwald (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) led Utica scorers with 13 points, while freshman
Ashley Mayo (Nanuet, NY/Nanuet) netted seven points and added one steal and one assist. Seniors
Christy Traglia (Mohawk, NY/Mohawk) and
Samantha Stayer (Allegany, NY/Allegany-Limestone) combined for 11 points and 12 boards, while the Utica bench consisting of
Ashelyne Babb (Lynn, MA/Winthrop),
Marissa Kahane (Sayville, NY/Sayville),
Maggie Tabone (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili), and
Monica Makuch (Brownville, NY/General Brown) combined for 16 points.
The Bombers had four players score double-digit points, led by leading scorer Ally Mnich, who netted 19 points.
