Box Score 2 HOBOKEN, NJ- The Utica College volleyball team dropped a pair of games at the Stevens Invitational Saturday Afternoon at Stevens Institute of Technology. UC fell to Western Connecticut State and Marietta College, each by scores of 3-0.

Hannah Voss (St. Louis, MO/Oakville) led the Pioneers with 11 kills and nine digs, while junior
Brandi Blaszak (Marcy, NY/Whitesboro) was second on the squad with seven kills and five digs. Senior
Lora Allen (Dolgeville, NY/Dolgeville) collected a team-high 21 assists to aid the attack. Western Connecticut won its sixth decision out of the last seven games and improved to 10-7 on the season.
Utica 0, Marietta 3- Game Two FinalMarietta took home its second victory in the last three games as it topped UC in straight sets. Marietta took the first set 25-22, the second set 25-8, and both teams battled to a 25-23 decision in the third set.

Samantha Hoerning (Farmingville, NY/Sachem East) chipped in with three kills of her own.
The Pioneers return to action Thursday as they travel to Cobleskill for a non-conference match up against the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
