UTICA, NY – The Utica College men's soccer team gets set to host Morrisville State College at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium on Tuesday. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.

Last Time Out: Utica College lost an Empire 8 Conference match-up 4-2 against visiting Elmira College on Saturday. Shane Ruffing (Rochester, NY/Westborough) tied the game twice with two goals but UC gave up two goals in the final 15 minutes to drop the game.

Moving up the Record Books: Ruffing added two goals to his career school goal-scoring record and moved up into second place in the all-time record book for total points (70), passing Kevin McAllister '13... He now only needs five points to become the College's all-time point's leader.

Helping Out: The Pioneers have four players other than Ruffing with four or more points so far this season… Bita Gazashvili (Tiblisi, Georgia) is second on the team in points (11) having three goals and five assists…Patrick Claffey (Burlington, CT/Lewis Mills) is third on the team in points (6) having two goals and two assists…John Burke (Commack. NY/Commack) and Jordan Senay (Lockport, NY/Lockport) each have four points…Burke has two goals while Senay has one goal and two assists.

In the Net: Nick Hallett (Adams, NY/South Jefferson CSD) has faced 136 shots for Utica this year… He has a save percentage of .754, 52 saves, and 17 goals against… He has started nine games for the Pioneers.

Scouting Morrisville State: The Mustangs are 5-2-1 overall and have a 5-0-0 North Eastern Athletic Conference record… Morrisville is currently on a five game winning streak… The Mustangs are led by Jamieson McKoy (six goals, two assists), and goalie Rob Larkin who in six games has three goals against, two shutouts, and a .857 save percentage.

Against the Mustangs: Utica is 1-1 against Morrisville State in the last five years… The home team has won the last two games in the series... The Pioneers lost last year's match-up, 2-0, and won the year before, also by a 2-0 score.
