Utica, NY – The Utica College men's soccer team lost to visiting Morrisville State 2-0 in non-conference action on the turf at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium Tuesday night. The Pioneers fell into an early 1-0 hole in the first seven minutes of the contest and could not overcome the deficit, as the visiting Mustangs added an insurance tally late in the contest to earn the victory.
Morrisville's Jamieson McKoy registered two goals on the afternoon to pace the Mustangs.
The Pioneers (4-9, 1-2 Empire 8) have wrapped up a three game home stand and will now hit the road for Empire 8 Conference action on Saturday when they travel to St. John Fisher College. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Growney Stadium.
The Pioneers fell into an early 1-0 hole when McKoy netted his seventh goal of the season at 6:49. The Mustangs secured the victory when McKoy tallied his second goal of the evening and eighth of the year with less than seven minutes to go in the contest.
Cheron Barrie assisted on McKoy's first goal of the game, while Julian Rodriguez added the helper on the second goal of the game.

Matthew Milograno (Marcy, NY/Whitesboro) stopped five shots in the loss for the Pioneers, while Rob Larkin added six saves in between the pipes for Morrisville.
Morrisville earned a 13-6 shot advantage on the day, while the Pioneers earned six corner kicks compared to the visitor's four. Morrisville improved to 6-2-1 overall and 5-0 in the NEAC.
