UTICA, NY- Senior Colleen Dowling (Fairport, NY/Fairport) of the Utica College field hockey team was named to the 2015 Longstreth / NFHCA Division III All-Region Team, announced Monday.  Dowling earned Second Team status for the North Atlantic Region for the second straight year.
 
The midfielder, who recently participated in the Division III Senior All Star game, was a First Team All-Conference selection this year.  She finished her senior campaign tied for the team lead in points (17) and collected a team-best nine assists.  She totaled 67 points (19 goals, 29 assists) in 82 career games played at UC.  She ranks seventh all-time in total points and fourth in career assists, one behind 2014 graduate and All-American Alaina Stojkovski (Liverpool, NY/Cicero-North Syracuse).  Dowling was also instrumental in all three of Utica's Empire 8 Conference titles the Pioneers won during her four-year career. 
 
UC wrapped up the 2015 season with a 7-11 record and narrowly missed out on the Empire 8 Conference Tournament with a 4-4 mark in league play.
