UTICA, NY – The Utica College men's tennis team lost its final home match of the season, 9-0, Saturday to Elmira College in Empire 8 play.  The Pioneers were led by junior Matt Rogers (East Syracuse, NY/Bishop Ludden) who totaled three combined points in singles and also three in doubles play despite losing both.

UC falls to 1-11 overall including a 0-8 mark in the Empire 8.  Utica wraps up the 2014-15 campaign with a non-conference match against Keuka College on Wednesday.  The contest is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. at the KC Tennis Complex in Keuka Park, NY.

The Soaring Eagles move their overall record to 7-5 including a 4-3 ledger in conference play.  EC returns to the courts Sunday as it concludes its campaign at home against Nazareth College (1 p.m.).
