UTICA, NY – The Utica College women's basketball team is set to host its last home game of the season and senior day as it takes on Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Senior Day: The Pioneers will honor four seniors in a pregame ceremony Saturday afternoon … Mary Miceli (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle), Christy Traglia (Mohawk, NY/Mohawk), Kelcei Edmonds (Pittsburgh, PA/Shady Side Academy) and Stephanie Beck (Leyden, MA/Pioneer Valley) have helped lead Utica to 38 victories, including 19 Empire 8 Conference wins over the course of the last four seasons in the orange and blue.

Leaving a Legacy: In four seasons Mary Miceli (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) has appeared in 95 games and has started in 86 … She currently ranks seventh on the College's all-time scoring list with 1,220 points … She needs 21 points to move into sixth on the College's all-time scoring list, surpassing Mallory Davis … She also ranks second all-time at UC with 160 career 3-pointers … Miceli currently averages 12.9 points per game for her career and has a career three-point percentage of .304 … Senior Kelcei Edmonds (Pittsburgh, PA/Shady Side Academy) has appeared in 42 games and started in five throughout her career … She has a career scoring average of 3.6 points per game overall, scoring 117 total points … She has racked up 52 rebounds, 29 assists, 20 steals, and one block … Graduate student Christy Traglia (Mohawk, NY/Mohawk) has scored 376 points in 86 career games at UC … She has 208 rebounds, 116 assists, 68 steals, and five blocks in her career … She was a two-sport athlete during her time at UC, also excelling on the softball field ... Stephanie Beck (Leyden, MA/Pioneer Valley) could not play this season but has been an intricate part of the Pioneers success over the last four seasons.

Continue to Fight: The Pioneers hosted St. John Fisher on Tuesday night and came up short in the fourth quarter as the Cardinals went on to win 72-63…  Mary Miceli (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) led the team with 22 points and Ashelyne Babb (Lynn, MA/Winthrop) added 12 points, four steals, and four rebounds ... The Pioneers led by as many as eight points, 46-38, with 2:48 to go in the third quarter but FIsher outscored UC 34-17 in the final 12:48 of the contest to earn the victory.

Leading the way: Miceli leads the Pioneers this season averaging 13.8 points per game … Alongside her is sophomore Ashelyne Babb (Lynn, MA/Winthrop) who averages 11.7 points per game … Miceli ranks seventh in the conference in 3-pointers per game (1.7) and fifth in steals per game (1.9) … Babb is second in the conference in steals per game (2.6) and tenth in conference in free throw percentage (.641).

Helping Out: The Pioneers have Ashley Mayo (Nanuet, NY/Nanuet), Alaina Tripp (Clyde, NY/Clyde-Savannah), and Calyspo Carty to help on the offensive side of the court as all of them average over six points per game … Ashely Mayo is third on the team averaging 9.1 points per game while Alaina Tripp (Clyde, NY/Clyde-Savannah) is fourth on the team averaging 7.2 points per game … Calyspo Carty is fifth on the team averaging 6.5 points per game.

Post Players: Alaina Tripp (Clyde, NY/Clyde-Savannah) scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds against Fisher on Tuesday night … Tripp leads the team in rebounds (128) and currently sits in twelfth in the conference averaging 5.8 per game … Calyspo Carty scored 11 points and had eight rebounds in Tuesday night's loss … Carty is behind Tripp on the team in rebounds (124) and thirteenth in the conference averaging 5.6 rebounds per game.

First Meeting This Year: The Pioneers faced the Ducks for the first time this season on January 6^th and lost 57-42 … Alaina Tripp (Clyde, NY/Clyde-Savannah) led the team with 10 points and seven rebounds in the loss … Utica is 1-8 against the Ducks in the last five seasons.
