Kells Casey (Sandwich, MA/Kimball Union Academy) was named the Empire 8 Goalie of the Week, Monday, after matching her season-high of nine saves in the win over Potsdam... She is currently ranked second in the conference in save percentage (.500) and saves per game (8.25) and she also ranks third in goals against average (8.15) … She has compiled a 3-1 record on the season.
Scouting Oswego State: The Lakers are 2-1 overall this season and are 2-0 at home and 0-1 on the road … Oswego rebounded from a 9-7 season opening loss to Clarkson to beat RIT 18-7 and Houghton 18-2 … The Lakers are led by Erannan Shattuck (17 points off of four goals and 13 assists) and Teresa Shattuck (15 points off of seven goals and eight assists) … In net for Oswego is Angela Ponto (20 saves, .556 save percentage, and a 5.82 goals against average) and Erin Ganley (one save, a .333 save percentage, and a 7.92 goals against average).
