Box Score ITHACA, NY- The Utica College women's lacrosse team had its three-game winning streak snapped Sunday as it fell to top-seeded Ithaca College, 18-2, in Empire 8 Conference action.
 
The Pioneers fall to 9-6 on the year and 4-3 in the Empire 8.  Utica must win against Nazareth next Saturday in order to make the Empire 8 Conference Tournament.  Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
 
The home team jumped out to a 10-1 lead at halftiem and added another eight tallies in the second stanza to secure its 11^th win of the season and remain unbeaten in the Empire 8. Sophomore Brooke Miller (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) and freshman Natalie Capriglione (New Milford, CT/New Milford Greenwave) scored for Utica.  Senior Kells Casey (Sandwich, MA/Kimball Union Academy) and sophomore Amanda Lupo (Auburn, NY/Skaneateles) combined for nine saves in net.
