UTICA, NY – The Utica College men's tennis team is on the road against Empire 8 Conference opponent No. 21 Stevens for the final match of the regular season. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m.
 
Last Time Out: Utica dropped a pair of conference games over the weekend … On Saturday UC fell 8-1 to Alfred while on Sunday the team was beaten 8-1 by Ithaca … Matt Rogers (East Syracuse, NY/Bishop Ludden) led the team with back to back singles victories on Saturday and Sunday.
 
Hot Hand: Rogers has seven singles victories on the year including six straight matches with a singles victory dating all the way back to the Nazareth match (4/10/16) … In doubles the team of Rogers and Jacob Nigolian (Syracuse, NY/Westhill) have teamed up for two doubles victories on the year over the Sage Colleges and Oswego.
 
Players To Watch: Kevin Vo (Utica, NY/Proctor) is second on the team with five singles victories on the season … Raphael Warnon (Rock Tavern, NY/Washingtonville), Paul Litvak (Brooklyn, NY/Abraham Lincoln), and Edgar Aguilar (Mamaroneck, NY/Mamaroneck) all have one singles victory on the year … The team of Vo and Warnon and Litvak and Franklin Guebara (Utica, NY/Proctor) each have one doubles victory on the year.
 
Scouting Stevens: The No.21 Ducks are 14-7 overall with a 6-0 conference record … Stevens is currently on a five match winning streak and takes on Hartwick College three hours before facing Utica … The Ducks are led by Ben Foran (10-2) and Matthew Heinrich (11-2) in singles and as a team in doubles (13-2).
