UTICA, NY- The Utica College field hockey team returns home Wednesday as it hosts crosstown rival, Hamilton College. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT: UC is coming off a 6-0 win at Keuka on Sunday… Five different players scored, led by sophomore
Rebecca Kauffman (Mount Joy, PA/Linden Hall), who had two goals and one assist… Classmate
Tiffany Evans (East Syracuse, NY/East Syracuse Minoa) finished with four points on the day off of one goal and two assists….
Tori Couture (Auburn, ME/Edward Little ) and
Rylee Meelan (Clinton, NY/Clinton) each had one goal, and freshman
Fiona Shea (East Greenbush, NY/East Greenbush) netted her first collegiate goal, which proved to be the game-winner.
LEADING THE WAY: Sophomore
Rylee Meelan (Clinton, NY/Clinton) leads the team with nine points (four goals, one assist)… She has totaled three points in the last two games… Senior
Rachael Scaramuzzino (Utica, NY/Whitesboro) is tied with Meelan for the team lead with four goals… All four of her scores came last week.
HELPING OUT: Eight different players have found the back of the net this season… Apart from Meelan and Scaramuzzino,
Tiffany Evans (East Syracuse, NY/East Syracuse Minoa) and

SCOUTING HAMILTON: The Continentals are coming off a huge win over No. 3 ranked Middlebury College on Sunday… Hamilton has won three of its last four and two of the Continentals' losses have come by just one goal… Hamilton is led by freshman Michaela Giuttari, who has five goals and three assists so far this season.
AGAINST THE CONTINENTALS: Utica is 3-2 against Hamilton in the last five years… Last year Hamilton came away with a 4-1 victory at home on Oct. 25… Senior
