HOBOKEN, NJ- Stevens Institute of Technology outscored the Utica College women's basketball team 34-12 in the second half as it came away with a 77-37 victory in Empire 8 Conference action Saturday afternoon.

Ashley Mayo (Nanuet, NY/Nanuet) led UC with 18 points on the day, marking her ninth straight game with over 10 points. Mayo also came down with nine rebounds, including eight off the defensive glass. Classmate
Maggie Tabone (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) led UC with 10 boards on the afternoon.

Ashelyne Babb (Lynn, MA/Winthrop) and
Rachel Hunter (West Islip, NY/West Islip) combined for 11 points, while
Nicolette Conkin (Los Altos, CA/Homestead),
Calypso Carty (Pipersville, PA/Central Bucks West),
Alaina Tripp (Clyde, NY/Clyde-Savannah), and Tabone also scored for the Pioneers.Â

The Ducks had two players score more than ten points, led by Zoe Hahn, who finished with 14. Stevens totaled 36 points off turnovers, while Utica mustered just nine points off steals. The Stevens bench also outscored Utica's reserves 36-4 on the day.

The Pioneers look to bounce back Thursday as they host Nazareth College. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.  Â
