UTICA, NY- Junior Rylee Meelan (Clinton, NY/Clinton) of the Utica College field hockey team was named second team All-Region for the North Atlantic region, announced by the NFHCA and Longstreth on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Meelan, who was selected first team All-Conference, led Utica this season with career highs in goals (12), assists (six), and points (30).  She also scored all three goals for the Pioneers in the Empire 8 Conference Tournament, earning her All-Tournament team nods. 
 
The Pioneers finished 9-10 overall and lost in the Empire 8 Championship game to Washington & Jefferson.  Utica made its sixth trip to the conference tournament in program-history and first since 2014.
