Rebecca Plunkett (Kings Park, NY/Kings Park) has reached a total of 10 points on the season … Plunkett has scored at least two goals in every contest so far this season … She currently is averaging 3.3 points per game for the Pioneers … Of the 22 shots she has taken, 19 of them have been placed on goal … Currently, Plunkett leads the team in goals with eight and in draw controls with 13.
Scouting Wellesley: The Wellesley lacrosse team own a record of 1-2 to start the season … In their last game, the Blue defeated Massachusetts-Dartmouth by a score of 14-5 to earn their first win of the year … Senior Nikki Sharkin had a strong outing as she finished with a season-high of five goals in the contest … Dacia Persky netted three goals while Olivia Strobl and Carley Phillips each scored two … Sharkin leads the team with eight goals this season, as Phillips is right behind her with seven of her own … Senior goalkeeper Wendy Nettleton has started all three games for the Blue and has made 32 saves so far this year.
