UTICA, NY – Senior Rylee Meelan (Clinton, NY/Clinton) of the Utica College field hockey team was named first team All-Region for the North Atlantic region., announced by the NFHCA and Longstreth on Wednesday.

Meelan, who was a second team All-Region selection last year, was also named first team All-Conference this season. She finished her final season breaking her own career-high in points (39) and goals (18). Meelan also had two hat tricks this season, scoring three goals against Brockport and Skidmore.  She will now await a possible selection to the Division III All-American teams.  

Meelan ended her career ranked fifth all-time in goals (43) and points (97) in 72 games played. She is now a two-time All-Region selection and a four-time All-Conference honoree.
           
The Pioneers finished the season with a 6-11 overall record and 3-5 in the Empire 8 Conference.
