Box Score 2 KISSIMMEE, FL- The Utica College softball team cruised to a 15-1 run-rule victory against Beloit College before dropping an 8-7 extra-inning heartbreaker to Kean to cap off its fourth day of action at the Sunkissed Games in Kisimmee, Florida on Thursday.

Utica 15, Beloit 1 (5 Innings)- Game One Final
Utica scored at least one run in all four innings at the plate, including 13 runs in the first two innings, to come away with its most lopsided victory of the season so far. Senior
Sabrina Stransky (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) hit her second grand slam and fourth home run of the season to give UC an early lead.Â

Stransky finished a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs scored to pace the Pioneers. Eight other players also had hits on the day, including
Jacqueline Aronin (Naugatuck, CT/Naugatuck High School), who was 2-for-2 with three RBIs, and
Hayley Fredericks (Suffern, NY/Suffern) (2-for-2, one RBI, one run scored).Â
Madison Akots (Wynantskill, NY/Emma Willard School) and
Nicole Rice (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South) were each 2-for-3 and they combined for four runs, while
Dominique Soto (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) was 2-for-4 with one triple.Â
Sadie Evans (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa),
Sabrina Whitehouse (Greenwich, NY/Greenwich), and
Madison Judge (Albany, NY/Colonie) also had hits.

Stransky picked up the win in the circle as she struck out three and allowed just four hits in the victory.Â

Utica 7, Kean 8 (8 Innings)- Game Two Final
The Pioneers battled back from a 5-1 deficit after the fourth inning and were able to tie the game in the top of the sixth before Kean regained a two-run cushion.Â
Sabrina Stransky (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) hit a clutch leadoff homer in the top of the seventh to bring Utica within one. Then, with two outs and runners on first and second,
Jamie Miller (Boonville, NY/Adirondack) singled up the middle to bring in the tying run.Â

Despite giving up a triple with just one out, the Utica defense was able to hold strong to force the extra inning. UC threatened in the top of the eighth but was not able to score the go-ahead. The Cougars meanwhile needed just one batter in the eighth to get the walk-off victory.

Nicole Rice (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South) led the Pioneers at the plate in game two as she was 3-for-4, while
Hayley Fredericks (Suffern, NY/Suffern) was 2-for-4 with one home run.Â

Dominique Soto (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) also had hits.

Gabby Caccamo (Suffern, NY/Suffern) had two strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work, while
