Utica, NY – The Utica College men's tennis team is on the road Tuesday, as it faces off against Sage for some Empire 8 tennis action. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
 
Last Time Out: The Pioneers matched up against Oswego for the second time this season in their last match. The Oswego State Lakers earned the 9-0 sweep at the competition. The loss puts Utica's record down to 0-8 overall, while the team remains 0-6 in Empire 8 play.
 
Final Weekend: UC is heading into the final week and weekend of the 2018 season. After Tuesday's meeting with Sage, the team will only have two matches left on the schedule. During this upcoming weekend, the Pioneers will travel to face Stevens on Saturday and they will host SUNY Delhi to close out the season on Sunday.
 
Scouting Sage: The Sage Gators are currently 0-8 overall and 0-5 against conference opponents. The team most recently was swept, 9-0, by the Ducks from Stevens in its last match over the weekend. Both Sage and Utica will be looking to get their first win of the year on Tuesday.
 
Looking Ahead: The Pioneers are at it again on Saturday for the final road trip of the season, as they travel to Hoboken, NJ to take on Stevens. This E8 match is set to begin at 2 p.m.
