UTICA, NY - The Utica College women's hockey team travels to Rochester, NY Wednesday to finish off their season series with UCHC rivals Nazareth College.  The afternoon matinée is scheduled for 2 p.m.
 
LAST TIME OUT: The Pioneers took both games over UCHC rival Stevenson University last weekend… UC downed the Mustangs 4-2 on Friday and 5-2 on Saturday... Six different players scored on the weekend including Caley Susitti (Hartland, WI/Milwaukee Jr. Admirals), Georgiana Santullo (Woburn, MA/Boston Shamrocks/Woburn High School), and Rebecca Brown (Steamboat Springs, CO/Norwich University), who each had two goals, while Lexi Stanisewski (Lawrence, MA/Boston Shamrocks), Katrina Cornick (Mason City, IA/Rocky Mountain Roughriders), and Kayla Dion (Colchester, VT/Boston Shamrocks) each had one tally… Junior goalie Bria Reilly (Hamden, CT/Brewster Academy) totaled 49 saves on the weekend. 
 
PLAYOFFS: For the 17th time in 18 years, the Pioneers have qualified for the conference playoffs… Utica is currently second in the UCHC standings with five conference games left to play… All five games are against teams that have also qualified for the conference tournament, so they will dictate Utica's seed in the tournament… The Pioneers are 11-2 in league play (14-4 overall), marking the seventh time in program history that they have recorded at least 10 conference wins in a season… UC needs just two more wins in UCHC play to match its single-season record for conference wins, which the 2015-16 edition of the Pioneers accomplished.
 
LEADING THE WAY: Lexi Stanisewski (Lawrence, MA/Boston Shamrocks) currently leads the Pioneers in points (21) and assists (13)…The sophomore has reached a new career mark for goals (eight), assists, and points... Junior Rebecca Brown (Steamboat Springs, CO/Norwich University) leads the team with a career-high 11 goals and she is second on the squad with 19 points… She needs four more points to match her single-season best of 23. 
 
A BRICK WALL: Junior Bria Reilly (Hamden, CT/Brewster Academy) owns a 1.43 goals against average and a .930 save percentage with four shutouts on the year… Her 11 wins this season are tied for seventh in the country. 
 
SCOUTING NAZ: The Golden Flyers are 14-3-1 (10-3-0 in the UCHC) and they are coming off a pair of 3-0 wins over Lebanon Valley last weekend... Nazareth boasts the top offense in the country, averaging 5.11 goals per game… Naz is led by freshman Hailey Redders, who has 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists) in 18 games.
 
AGAINST THE GOLDEN FLYERS: The Pioneers dropped a 3-1 decision to the Golden Flyers in Rochester just a week and a half ago... Rebecca Brown (Steamboat Springs, CO/Norwich University) scored the only goal in the contest for Utica… Bria Reilly (Hamden, CT/Brewster Academy) had 22 saves in the loss.
 
LOOKING AHEAD: The Pioneers face a big home-and-home series with William Smith this weekend… UC will return home to the Adirondack Bank Center to take on the Herons on Saturday at 3 p.m. before traveling to Geneva for the series finale on Sunday at 4 p.m.
