Women's Soccer Ties at St. John Fisher

Rochester, NY – The Utica College women's soccer team notched a 2-2 tie against St. John Fisher on Saturday afternoon to advance to 8-4-1 on the season. This tie came in comeback fashion, as the Pioneers faced a 2-0 deficit heading into the half by way of two Megan Letta goals.

The comeback started in the 29th minute on a Sydney Cook (Waterville, NY/Waterville) feed to senior Mikayla Blumenstock (Poland, NY/Poland) for her conference-best 15th goal of the season. Junior Kierra Caissey (Gardner, MA/Gardner) followed suit in the 74th minute with a goal of her own to even the game at two. Freshman Jenna Keeman (Douglas, MA/Douglas ) was credited with her first career assist on the equalizer.

The Pioneers return home this Wednesday for senior night against Empire 8 opponent Nazareth College. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium.
