Utica, NY - Adnan Bakalovic's (Utica, NY/Proctor High School) hat trick performance on senior day powered the Utica College men's soccer team to a convincing 4-1 decision over Hartwick to advance to 10-6-1 on the season.

Senior Thomas Muller (Camillus, NY/Bishop Ludden) got things rolling in the 13th minute with an unassisted, break away goal for his third of the season.

Bakalovic's goals in the 49th, 54th and 57th minute marked a season-high for the Syracuse University graduate-transfer, as he had only two goals heading into today's match. He also has totaled a team-high five assists on the year.

Sophomore forward Jahren James (River Vale, NJ/Pascack Valley) notched an assist on the final goal of this contest. Sophomore goalie Nick Spooner (Lisbon, NY/Lisbon) also had an impressive five-save outing in his fifth-career start in the net.

This is the final game of the season for the Pioneers, and they will wait for the rest of the Empire 8 to play out this evening before finding out their postseason status.
