DANBURY, Conn. – Utica College's Sabrina Whitehouse (Greenwich, NY/Greenwich) – of the field hockey team – was named to the 2019 Division III Field Hockey All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Second Team, which was announced on Wednesday.

The ECAC is an 80-year old organization with 200-plus member schools throughout all three NCAA Divisions, and exists to better the experience of student-athletes in intercollegiate sports. It sponsors championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions across the Northeast. A majority of its members have different primary conference affiliations.

Whitehouse was a force to reckon with offensively, leading the squad, while ranking second in the Empire 8 in assists (10). She also tied for the team lead in points with 24, sitting second in goals with seven.

The forward's performance during the 2019 season helped her to her third-straight All-Empire 8 honor.

With one season of eligibility left, the junior looks to move up in the history books, currently ranking fifth in helpers (19), eighth in points (57) and is just one tally shy of the top-10 in goals (19).

Whitehouse will be among 14 returners for the 2020 slate.
