Utica, NY – The Utica College women's basketball team wraps up its season Tuesday as it hosts Elmira College.  Game time is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
 
Last Time Out: The Pioneers improved to 8-16 overall after defeating visiting Houghton College by a score of 69-59 at home on Saturday... Nicolette Conklin and Sydney Przygoda (Freehold, NJ/Freehold) led the Pioneers with 21 and 18 points, respectively... Briannah Florian (Fort Plain, NY/Fort Plain) chipped in with 12 points of her own… Cortlynn Jepsen (Hudson, NY/Hudson) got the start and did not disappoint as she nabbed seven rebounds and added six points... Kimberly Soriano (Queens, NY/Monsignor McClancey Memorial) was on point from downtown once again as she drilled two 3-pointers off the bench and also added five rebounds.
 
Put it on my Tab: Freshman Sydney Przygoda (Freehold, NJ/Freehold) has racked up a pile of Empire 8 weekly awards… The 5-11 forward has been named the E8 Rookie of the Week five times and she was also the Empire 8 Player of the Week once… Przygoda currently leads the Empire 8 with 12.1 rebounds per game and she is ninth nationally in offensive rebounds per game (5.0)… Przygoda also leads the Pioneers and ranks sixth in the conference in scoring with 14.5 points per game.
 
Dishing It Out: Utica is first in the Empire 8 in assists, averaging 15.75 assists per game… Junior Nicolette Conkin (Los Altos, CA/Homestead) is tied for first in the conference with 5.0 assists per game… Sophomore Brigid Johndrow (Bristol, CT/St. Paul Catholic) is fifth in the E8 with 4.3 assists per game. 
 
Last Time vs Elmira: Utica lost to Elmira 70-60 in their meeting on Feb. 8… Three players scored in double figures for the Pioneers as Sydney Przygoda (Freehold, NJ/Freehold) had a team-high 16 points, Bridgid Johndrow finished with 11, and Nicolette Conkin (Los Altos, CA/Homestead) totaled 10 points.
 
Scouting Elmira: Elmira is led by Lindsey Heaton who is tied for fourth place in the E8 in scoring with an average of 14.8 points per game... Heaton is sixth in assists with an average of 3.3 per game as well.
