ONE MORE: Utica is currently 10-3 overall and 4-2 in the Empire 8… The Pioneers need just one more win to set a new program record for wins in a season… UC is also just one win shy of tying its single-season record for conference wins in a season, which the team accomplished last year.Â

LEADING THE WAY: Senior
Katlyn Scarpinella (South Setauket, NY/Ward Melville) has a team-high 41 points, which ties her career-high… Scarpinella she is second on the team in both goals (24) and assists (17)… Scarpinella is also second on the squad in draw controls (50) and caused turnovers (19) and she shares the team-lead with 40 ground balls.

DISHING IT OUT: Sophomore
Lauren Wolff (Peabody, MA/Peabody) continues to lead Utica with 21 assists this season… Wolff ranks third in the E8 with 1.62 assists per game… She also has nine goals to her credit and she is fourth on the team with 30 points.Â

QUICK DRAW: Freshman
Lexi Scaccia (Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro) ranks second in the College's single-season record book with 78 draw controls this season… Her 6.00 draw controls per game lead the E8… Scaccia is also tied for second on the team with 31 points (19 goals, 12 assists).

PALMER KEEPING PACE: Junior
Kaitlynn Palmer (Verona, NY/VVS) continues to lead the team with 27 goals and she is tied for second in total points (31)… Palmer also has 24 ground balls and 22 draw controls to her credit… She has been held without a point just once this season and she leads the team with three game-winning goals.

SCOUTING ELMIRA: The Soaring Eagles are 2-13 (2-4 Empire 8) and they are coming off a 17-1 loss to SUNY Canton on Thursday… Elmira is led by Mikayla Carfello, who has 20 goals this season.Â

AGAINST THE SOARING EAGLES: Utica is 13-5 all-time against Elmira and the Pioneers have won the last five meetings between the two teams… Last year, UC downed the Soaring Eagles 19-4…
