OSWEGO, NY- The Utica College volleyball team dropped both games on day two of the Oswego Tournament Saturday as it fell to SUNY Canton and Clarkson University both by scores of 3-0.

Junior
Meaghan Romaguera (Stone Ridge, NY/Rondout) and sophomore
Rosemarie Fesko (Goshen, NY/Central) led the Pioneer attack with six kills each.  Freshman
Eleanor Cepiel (West Sand Lake, NY/Academy of Holy Names) chipped in with four kills of her own.  Sophomore
Jenna Prewasnicak (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) had a team-best 13 assists, while
Casey Sims (Schenectady, NY/Niskayuna) and Lauryn Wilcox added five assists apiece.Â

Romaguera was also Utica's top defensive player as she recorded a team-high 10 digs. Cepiel was right behind Romaguera with nine digs of her own, while Wilcox finished with six digs in the first match. Â

Utica 0, Clarkson 3- Game Two Final
Eleanor Cepiel (West Sand Lake, NY/Academy of Holy Names) led Utica on both sides of the net as she had a team-high six kills and 11 digs. Freshmen
Taylor Crowley (Washington Township, NJ/Washington Township) and Lauryn Wilcox combined for 12 digs in match two.  Wilcox and
Casey Sims (Schenectady, NY/Niskayuna) each had four assists to aid the offense.

Alicja Swiechowska (Carmel, NY/Carmel) was named to the all-Tournament team after her impressive performance on the weekend.

The Pioneers have a busy week ahead with four home games. The first of which will be against cross town rival, SUNY Poly. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
