UTICA, NY- The Utica College volleyball team suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Nazareth College in Empire 8 Conference action Saturday afternoon.

Meaghan Romaguera (Stone Ridge, NY/Rondout) was all over the court for the Pioneers as she had a team-high four kills and she also chipped in with seven digs and one service ace. Senior
Lindsey Hannel (Victor, NY/Victor) finished with three kills and sophomore
Kurstan Martin (Owego, NY/Tioga) had two kills on the day.

Jenna Prewasnicak (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) and freshman
Eleanor Cepiel (West Sand Lake, NY/Academy of Holy Names) combined for 11 assists. Cepiel led the squad with 12 digs, while classmate
Taylor Crowley (Washington Township, NJ/Washington Township) recorded 11 digs of her own.
