UTICA, NY – The Utica College men's lacrosse team was able to claim its victory of the season, taking down Marywood University 11-9 at home on Wednesday afternoon.

UC and Marywood traded goals throughout the remainder of the contest, but the hosts never saw their lead dip below two goals.

Dylan Dunham (Elbridge, NY/Jordan Elbridge), who posted a hat trick, notched his first goal to close out the first half (12 seconds). His second tally opened the second half (14:16), and his third was Utica's last goal of the came with 2:16 remaining in the contest. His first two tallies were unassisted while Wagner helped along the third score.

Avery and Wagner recorded goals in the final period, both unassisted.

Wagner led the offense, posting a team-best four points on two goals and two assists, while Dunham was close behind with his trio of tallies. Fiacco and Daniele finished the day with two goals each.

Earning his first-ever win in goal, freshman Jozef Korpics (Center Valley, PA/Moravian Academy) put up a career-best 15 saves to secure his team's victory. Korpics also picked up two ground balls in the process.
