UTICA, NY - The Utica University men's soccer team fell to the Keuka College Wolves 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.

The first half was fast-paced with plenty of shots as the teams combined for 18 attempts. Utica pushed up the field quickly and Noah Nassberg (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast ) registered a shot within the first minute of the game. Keuka was able to regroup and move the ball downfield and find the back of the net in the 7th minute and gain a 1-0 advantage. The Pioneers continued to push the pace and create opportunities yet could not find the back of the net. The Wolves would take a 1-0 lead into the half.

The floodgates opened during the second half as plenty of goals were scored. In the 48th minute, Cody Baker-Green (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) sent a scorcher into the back of the net off an assist from Noah Nassberg (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast ) to even the score at 1-1. Just two minutes later, Nicholas Theimer (Flagstaff, AZ/Flagstaff) sent a beautiful shot past the Keuka goalie to give the Pioneers a 2-1 advantage. Just one minute later in the 51st minute, the Wolves were able to score and tie the contest at 2-2.
