GENEVA, NY - Mackenzie Mix (Camden, NY/Camden) of the Utica University field hockey team has been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Region III Second Team, as announced by the NFHCA on Wednesday. 
 
Mix, who was also named to the All-Empire 8 First Team and Empire 8 All-Tournament Team, enjoyed a fantastic sophomore year with the Pioneers. Over 18 games, the midfielder recorded 26 points on 11 goals and four assists. The Camden, NY native posted a .282 shot percentage and a .615 shot on goal percentage while also going 2-for-3 on penalty strokes as well as making two defensive saves. 
 
This year over 190 Division III student-athletes have been named to NFHCA Division III All-Region teams sponsored by The LineUp. Division III teams are separated into six regions: Region I, Region II, Region III, Region IV, Region V, and Region VI — each region honors up to 16 student-athletes on a first team and up to 16 student-athletes on a second team.
