ROCHESTER, NY - Hunter Logan (Fort Plain, NY/Herkimer College) of the Utica University men's track & field team has been named the Empire 8 Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday, Apr. 11. 
 
Logan was a dual winner in Saturday's Utica Spring Invitational. The indoor shot put All-American continued his dominant form outdoors with a winning toss in that event of 15.58 meters and continued with a 40.10 meter discus mark to also win that event. 
 
Logan and the Pioneers will travel to Westfield, MA on Saturday, Apr. 16 for the Jerry Gravel Classic hosted by Westfield State University.
