UTICA, NY- The Utica University softball team ended its season on a high note as the Pioneers swept Keuka College with wins of 13-10 and 19-11 in six innings.

Utica 13, Keuka 10- Game One Final
The teams combined for 31 hits in game one.Â
Brooke Catlin (Brewerton, NY/Central Square High School) and
Kaitlyn Paul (Albany, NY/Guilderland) were each 3-for-4 with two runs scored.Â
Abbigayle Finch (New Paltz, NY/New Paltz) led the Pioneers with four RBIs and three runs scored as she was 2-for-3 at the dish. Finch hit a clutch two-run home run as she pinch hit in the third inning.Â

Jordyn Conte (Newport, NY/West Canada Valley High School) also stepped up as a pinch hitter as she was 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.Â
Abriana Wadley (Utica, NY/Proctor),
Emily Joss (South Glens Falls, NY/South Glens Falls), Lucia Garguilo, and
Taylor Kraft (Loudonville, NY/Shaker ) also had this in the win.

Gargiulo picked up her first collegiate win as she came on in relief. And had two strikeouts in 2.1 innings of work.

Utica 19, Keuka 11 (6 Inn.)- Game Two Final
Facing an 11-9 deficit in the bottom of the sixth, the Pioneers rallied to score 10 runs to earn the run-rule victory. Utica had four players register four hits in game two, including
Emily Joss (South Glens Falls, NY/South Glens Falls),
Brooke Catlin (Brewerton, NY/Central Square High School),
Abigail Sacks (Colonie, NY/Colonie), and
Taylor Kraft (Loudonville, NY/Shaker ). With four hits, Joss reached the 100-hit mark for her career.

Kraft meanwhile totaled two homers and finished with five RBIs, while Catlin had four RBIs and Joss drove in three.Â
Lauren Paul (Guilderland, NY/Guilderland),
Kaitlyn Paul (Albany, NY/Guilderland),
Jordyn Conte (Newport, NY/West Canada Valley High School), and
Abbigayle Finch (New Paltz, NY/New Paltz) also had hits.Â

Prior to the game, the Pioneers held a short ceremony to celebrate graduating senior
Kaitlyn Paul (Albany, NY/Guilderland), and head coach
Pat Mineo, who is retiring after 18 years at the helm of the Utica softball program.Â
