WEBSTER, NY - The Utica University swim and dive teams completed Day 4 of the Empire 8 Championships on Saturday night. The women placed fourth with 280 points and the men finished fourth with 149.50 points.

Sara Kuiken finished sixth in heat two of the women's 200 yard backstroke clocking in at 2:28.02. Aimee Oswald participated in the same heat and finished ninth with a time of 2:40.05.
Phillip Ross (Newark, NJ/Newark) finished eighth in the men's 200 yard backstroke clocking in at 2:25.08.

Bailey Simmons placed seventh in the women's 100 freestyle coming in at 55.77 in the first heat. Paige Levine placed sixth in heat two finishing in58.46.
Jackson Sorbello (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) placed fourth in heat two of the men's 100 yard freestyle clocking in at 49.39.
Ronald Batario (Glassboro, NJ/Gloucester County Institute of Technology) participated in the same heat and placed ninth with a time of 52.49.

Utica had a trio of participants in the heat two of the women's 200 yard backstroke. Kira Seaman placed fifth with a time of 2:48.98 and was followed by Ainsley Vyse in seventh (2:54.57) and Kim Serio in eighth with a time of 2:55.41.

Nick Massa (New Hartford, NY/New Hartford) came in tenth in heat two of the men's 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:28.56.

Kira Seaman, Aimee Oswald, Ainsley Vyse, and Kim Serio came in eighth in heat one of the women's 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 4:23.14.
