UTICA,NY- At the Blue & Orange Invitational, Andrew Wieder (Clinton, NY/Clinton) is in fourth place after completing four of his seven heptathlon events on Friday, January 26 at the Todd and Jen Hutton Dome. The last time Wieder completed the heptathlon was earlier this season, when he took first place, scoring 3907 points.
 
So far, Wieder has run the 60m dash, clocking in at 7.69 to place fifth. He then long jumped 5.90m to place fourth. Wieder finished off the night with a pair of third places finishes in shot put (9.88m), and in high jump (1.78m).
 
The remainder of the heptathlon events, which are the 60m hurdles, pole vault, and 1000m along with all other events will take place on Saturday, January 27 beginning at 10am.
