ROCHESTER, NY - Alyssa Pisano (Hopewell Junction, NY/Arlington) was named the Empire 8 Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week after impactful performances in two wins this past week.

Pisano scored four goals, while helping lead Utica to a pair of wins. After scoring Utica's first goal in a 2-1 win over Keystone on Wednesday, Pisano was one of two Pioneers to score a hat-trick in an 8-0 win over Keuka on Saturday. She scored two first half goals to give Utica a 3-0 lead and completed the hat-trick just 22 seconds into the fourth quarter.

This is Pisano's first award of the season. The Pioneers will head out on a road trip this week, traveling to take on tough conference opponents in Nazareth and Houghton.
