Box Score ROCHESTER, NY - The Utica University women's basketball team fell 87-36 to (RV) St. John Fisher University on Tuesday night.
 
Vanessa Hall (Whitesville, NY/Whitesville Central) led the team with 13 points, five rebounds, and one steal including going 1-for-3 from beyond the arc. 
Krissy Geraci (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia) scored eight points with three rebounds on a perfect 4-for-4 from the field.
 
Haley Burchhardt (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) had six points with five boards and two assists while 
Emma Simmons (Unadilla, NY/Sidney Central) poured in four points with two rebounds and a pair of assists.
 
Fisher used a strong start to grab an early 11-4 lead about halfway through the first frame. 
Vanessa Hall (Whitesville, NY/Whitesville Central) hit back-to-back jumpers for the Pioneers to keep it close, but a late Cardinals run put them up 24-10 after one quarter of play.
 
Utica started to work the ball inside the paint more in the second quarter with 
Krissy Geraci (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia) having a great quarter with six points. However, Fisher matched the Utica attack and led 40-21 at the half.
 
The Cardinals used a strong second half to outscore the Pioneers in both quarters and picked up the Empire 8 victory by a score of 87-36.
 
Utica (6-15, 3-9 Empire 8) will remain on the road and face Keuka College on Saturday, February 10 at 2 p.m.
