ROCHESTER, NY - The Men's Indoor Track & Field team wrapped up day one at AARTFC Championships on Friday evening. After the first day, the men are tied for 11th place with nine points.

Hunter Logan (Fort Plain, NY/Herkimer College) took third place with a 16.34 toss. Round one was a season best for Hunter with a 16.32m throw.

Utica's men's first podium finish was the men's distance medley, which saw the team of
Anthony Leotta (Dix Hills, NY/Half Hollows Hills West),
Tristan Vargo (East Aurora, NY/Orchard Park),
Tobias Jeralds (Chatham, NY/Chatham) and
Bennett Melita (Johnstown, NY/Fonda Fultonville) take sixth place with a 10:24.83.

In the 400x4,
Tanner Warren (Mohawk, NY/Central Valley Academy),
Connor Dean (Taberg, Ny/Camden),
Jonathan Simmons (Broadalbin, NY/Broadalbin-Perth) and
Nolan Flynn (Bethel, CT/Bethel) placed ninth, just off the podium with a 3:25.11.
