COLLEGEVILLE, PA - Grace Marra (St. James, NY/Smithtown East) of the Utica University gymnastics team has been named a National Collegiate Gymnastics Association All-American as announced by the conference on Monday.
 
Marra achieved All-American status after earning a fantastic 37.150 in the all-around at the NCGA Championships which placed her on the podium in eighth place. She also earned a marvelous 9.800 in the floor exercise, a 9.375 in the vault, and a 9.050 in the uneven parallel bars at the NCGA Championships.
 
Marra becomes the first member in program history to earn All-American honors and left her mark throughout the record books.
 
This wraps up a tremendous freshman season for Marra and a successful inaugural campaign for the Utica University gymnastics program.
