CORTLAND, NY - The Utica University men's track and field team competed at the Cortland CNY College Challenge on Tuesday, April 23.

The team sent just three athletes, competing in throwing events only. The team's top finisher was
Antwan Kelly (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) placing fourth in two events. In the hammer throw, Kelly threw 49.04m, and tossed a discus throw of 37.46m to place fourth in each event.

Joshua Talbot (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) tossed a personal best of 45.97m to take seventh place in hammer throw. In the shot put, Isaiah Anighoro threw 10.99m to place ninth, which is an outdoor personal best. Anighoro also competed in the discus throw, tossing a personal best 31.76m to place eleventh.

The team will now turn their focus to the RPI Capital District Classic in Troy, NY on Friday, April 26 at 1 p.m. This will be Utica's last regular season meet before the Empire 8 Championships.
