CORTLAND, NY - The Utica University men's track and field team completed day two of the AARTFC Regional Championships on Thursday. The team finished 10th scoring 26 points.

The day's top performance came in the shot put by All-American
Hunter Logan (Fort Plain, NY/Herkimer College). His toss of 16.90m gave him the win on what was a season best throw. Logan is now currently ranked 12
th in NCAA Division III.

In the 200m,
Andy Hadasz (Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro) ran a time of 21.52 to place third. This was the second fastest time of his career in the 200m. Hadasz is the new school record holder in this event thanks to his time of 21.36 last weekend.

Another podium finish came courtesy of the 4x800m squad. The relay of
Tristan Vargo (East Aurora, NY/Orchard Park),
Evan Smith (Baldwinsville, NY/Baker),
Forest Martin (Poland, NY/Poland Central) and
Eddy Corporan (Poughkeepsie, NY/Roy C Ketcham) got the baton around 8:02.57 to place seventh overall. This is now a new season best for the 4x800m.

In the high jump,
Kaiden McCaskill (Rome, NY/Rome Free Academy) cleared 1.88m to finish 13th.

Those qualified will travel to Conway, SC for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. NCAA's will run from May 23-25 at Coastal Carolina University.Â
