ROCHESTER, NY - Mackenzie Mix (Camden, NY/Camden) was named the 2024 Empire 8 Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Meet, as announced by the league on Monday. 
 
Mix had a fantastic weekend at the championships, grabbing first in the 100m with a time of 12.30. Mix also won the 200m event with a 25.54 mark and the 400m in a time of 57.60.
 
Utica travels to Williams College in Williamstown, MA for the Farley Inter Regional. The Meet will take place on Friday, May 10 at noon and Saturday, May 11 at 10 a.m.
