Keating graduated from Horseheads in 2004 and was a member of the 2001-02 girls basketball team that advanced to the Class A state championship. Known for her exceptional speed, ball handling ability, and outside shooting, Keating netted 903 points and dished out 324 assists throughout her high school career.

"I am so proud that Laura was inducted into Horseheads High School Athletic Hall of Fame," said Michele Davis, Utica Head Women's Basketball Coach. "Her time at Utica was a special time for our program. She helped to elevate us to the next level, and I was thrilled when she decided to transfer back 'home.' This is a fantastic honor for a great student-athlete and person."
