ROCHESTER, NY - Anthony Bax (Parkhill, ON/Flin Flon Bombers (SJHL)) has been tabbed as a UCHC Rookie of the Week for the third time this season, picking up Co-Rookie of the Week Honors after a solid start against a potent Oswego offense on Friday.

Bax continued his phenomenal freshman campaign into 2025, displaying skill beyond his years in the Pioneers' big 5-3 victory over Oswego on Friday. Bax, who has worked his way into a spot as one of the Pioneers' top-line defenders, had another premier playmaking performance, recording two assists in Friday's action. Bax has one goal to go along with an outstanding 11 assists so far in his debut collegiate season.

This is his third Rookie of the Week award win, grabbing three accolades in just two and a half months of play so far in 2024-2025. 

Bax's men's hockey team returns to UCHC play this weekend, facing off against Manhattanville in back-to-back days on Friday and Saturday.
