UTICA, NY - Utica University's men's golf team will compete in the two-day Nazareth Fall Invitational over this coming weekend. On Sunday, October 5th, teams will travel to Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, NY. The following day, play will continue at the Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford, NY.

The Courses: Teams will play a different course each day of the event. On day one, teams will play on the course at the Ravenwood Golf Club. Ravenwood is a par-72 course in Victor, NY, with yardage totaling between 5,635-7,083 yards, depending on the tees used. During day two, play will occur at the par-72 Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford, NY. The course has two sets of tees for the men, the blues totalling 6,667 yards and the whits totalling 6,372 yards.

Revisiting Oswego: In their last outing, the Pioneers placed 5th of nine teams in the Oswego State Fall Invitational. Utica had six of its golfers participate, led by two +10 finishes by Adam Degregory (Saratoga Springs, NY/Schuylerville) and Aydin Parekh (Nobleton, Ontario/Blyth Academy). Nathan Macdonald (Canton, MA/Canton) and Louis Roman finished the team scoring each day, finishing +12 and +15 overall. Carter Lathrop (Walworth, NY/Gananda), who played as an independent, turned in a +22 finish after his two rounds. Koltin Pickell (Ellenville, NY/Ellenvlle) only played on day one of the event, shooting +10. Parekh had the best individual round of the event for Utica, turning in a +3 scorecard on day one that featured a one-under-par front nine.

Up Next: Utica golf will conclude the fall portion of its schedule in its next event, the Empire 8 Fall Invitational. The two-day event will be hosted at the nearby Teugega Country Club. Tee times are set to begin for the men at 10:00 am.
