ROCHESTER, NY - The Empire 8 released its list of men's soccer All-Tournament Team representatives, among which two Utica players were listed.
Noah Nassberg (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) and
Maximilian Pawlowski (Utica, NY/Whitesboro) achieved All-Tournament Team honors, being recognized for their outstanding play in the midfield during the Pioneers' run to the Empire 8 Semifinals.
The two midfielders were instrumental in the tournament run, a run which saw the team allow just one goal in each matchup, while producing six total goals during those same contests. The two captains held it down in the open field, outplaying the opposition in both matchups as they allowed almost zero opposing opportunities inside the Pioneers' box.
Nassberg and Pawlowski, both seniors, wrapped up their stellar careers with the Pioneers during the tournament.
Nassberg finished with 11 career goals and 10 career assists, also racking up four goals and five assists in the 2025 season. He also finsihed with two game winning goals over his career, proving to be a reliable option in the clutch. HIs 10 assists also rank tied for 11th in program history.
Pawlowski, a transfer from Herkimer Community College, played two solid years for the Pioneers. The Utica native started 21 games during his tenure, scoring one goal and accruing five assists.
This is the first career All-Tournament Team honor for either player.
