ROCHESTER, NY - Three members of the Utica University volleyball team have been selected to Empire 8 All-Conference teams, as announced by the league on Thursday.
Trinity Bailey (West Winfield, NY/Mount Markham) has received her first career All-Conference selection after being named to the third team. Bailey consistently ranked in the top five in the conference in kills and kills per set with a total of 320 this season. Bailey posted a team best .167 hitting percentage on the season with a third best team mark of 38 service aces.
Megan Wright (Clay Center, KS/Clay Center Community) has received her first career All-Conference selection after being named to the third team. Wright led the conference in total digs and digs per set average this season. With a total of 585 digs, Wright has completed the season within the top 10 in the nation in total digs, and 13th in the nation in digs per set average.
Lauren Jones (West Winfield, NY/Mount Markham) has been named Utica's recipient of the Empire 8 Tomorrow's Leaders award. One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2025 Women's Volleyball Tomorrow's Leaders Team. This team honors a student-athlete who has emerged as a leader not only on the field of play, but in the classroom and in the community. In addition, they "compete with honor and integrity" and have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen.
