ROCHESTER, NY - The two-seeded Utica University women's hockey team fell 3-2 in overtime against the one-seeded Nazareth Golden Flyers in the UCHC Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Carly Stefanini (Framingham, MA/Brooks School) scored one goal and tallied one assist.
Kelsey Elliott (Attleboro, MA/East Coast Wizards) had Utica's second goal. 12 different players totaled at least one shot.

UCHC Goaltender of the Year,
Angela Hawthorne (Santa Clara, CA/Meijer) made 29 saves. She made seven in the first and 11 in the second and third. She now finished her career as the best goaltender in program history.

UCHC Co-Player of the Year,
Jordan Kowalski (Chicopee, MA/Westfield), led the team with nine faceoff wins.

Nazareth finished the first period up 1-0 with a goal from UCHC Co-Player of the Year Amy Laskowski.

Abby Flanagan scored a goal for the Golden Flyers 10 minutes into the second period and Stefanini responded for Utica eight seconds later to make it 2-1 Nazareth.

Elliott scored the lone goal in the third period as both teams went into overtime tied at two.

Nazareth scored 1:19 into overtime, as the Golden Flyers would go on to win 3-2.
