GREENWOOD, IN - Two members of the Utica University men's basketball team have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men's Basketball NCAA Division III Team, as announced on Wednesday. 

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. To qualify, athletes must meet high performance standards in their sport and have at least a 3.50 GPA. Schools nominate their top student athletes, and those selected to the All-District team move on to be considered for Academic All-America.

The Pioneers' selections are as follows: 

Ryan McCardle (Hurley, NY/Kingston), Sr., G - Physical Education

Ben Wittman (Sherrill, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill), Sr., F  - Physical Therapy
